We’re so excited to celebrate Mayme Brown as our February student of the month!
Mayme is one of our spa students and will graduate from Aveda in April 2017. She attended Notre Dame High School in Crowley, LA. She played college volleyball at University of Louisiana Lafayette. She was also on the track and field team at LSU. She graduated from LSU May of 2016.
Mayme is very professional, helpful, humble and a patient person. She is one who goes above and beyond to achieve success. She is a very focus young woman and her desire was always to become a Licensed Esthetician. She is a very goal driven person who accomplishes whatever she sets her mind to doing. We are so happy to have her as a student here!
Why Aveda?
“I chose Aveda because of the high-quality education and educators. I also love the naturally derived products and holistic approach to wellness and healing.
Why Esthiology?
“I have always had a passion for skin care. Estheticians can make people feel more confident and beautiful and that is my favorite part.”
Favorite skill?
“My favorite skill is performing facials. I enjoy figuring out what the best treatment is for different skin types and seeing an improvement with each and every visit.”
After Aveda?
“After Aveda I plan to work in a medical spa before opening up my own salon and medical spa.”
Advice for peers:
“My advice to peers is to always follow your dreams and to never settle for anything less.”
