Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Covington is a hidden gem only minutes from downtown. Our picturesque campus is at the corner of Polders and Columbia, surrounded by trees and quiet streets. 

Our location offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful and quaint spot to learn and hone your craft, and close by to the center of the action, less than a mile from downtown Covington shops and restaurants. Sip a loaded tea with your new classmates at Hub 985 Nutrition, or grab a latte at PJ’s Coffee before class. 

Plenty of our students attend the Aveda Arts & Sciences Covington balance cosmetology school with family. If you have little ones, there are plenty of daycares nearby, so you could drop the kids off without going miles out of your way. And if you’re in on a Saturday, you can even stop by the farmers’ market! 

Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Covington offers quality classroom education and extensive real-world experience in our student salon.  

You get hands-on experiences both in and outside of our classrooms. We regularly partner with local businesses and events to give you a chance to showcase your hair and makeup skills while doing good in our community. Some of our students’ favorite events have been the Special Little Miss Pageant and Project Prom. We also do volunteer work by offering free services to various groups in need of some hair TLC. This includes providing services to local workers for Teachers and Nurses Weeks. 

Our extensive product instruction sets us apart from other cosmetology programs in Covington. Our students get exclusive access to training in Aveda products, which are all-natural, 100% vegan and cruelty-free, and derived from plants and flowers.
