Our campus’ salon and spa clinic space is spacious and inviting, from the dramatic lofted ceilings above the stylist stations to the warm, soothing lighting where clients can receive nail services. The environment is geared for student learning as well as mimicking a true boutique salon feel for real-world training.

Those who want to focus mostly on skincare or face beautification treatments like facials and hair removal should choose Esthiology.
Cosmetology
The Cosmetology programs at Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute – Dallas focus primarily on hair, such as hair cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing. If you’re passionate about many areas of beauty, Cosmetology may be a great fit because you’ll also get some skincare, nail, and makeup training to allow different options for specialization after you graduate.
In addition to prepping you for a career in the beauty industry, our curriculum prepares you for your Texas licensure exams, so you can launch seamlessly into your new career.
We offer both the 1,000-hour program and the 1,500-hour program for added flexibility for different students with different goals. The lengthier program allows you to develop your artistry with additional training—going above and beyond the state-mandated minimum topics—while the 1,000-hour option prepares you for your exams and starting your beauty career as quickly as possible.
Esthiology
As an Esthiology (esthetics) student at Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute – Dallas, you’ll learn to perform extraordinary treatments that can transform your clients’ skin. In addition to training on treatments like facials, facial massage, and hair removal, you’ll also be educated on the full suite of Aveda products. You’ll learn how to recommend the right products to match with clients’ skin for the glow they’re looking for—all powered by Aveda’s trademark pure flower and plant essences.
Many of our graduates have gone on to successful careers as a facial/skin care specialist, waxing specialist, or a wellness/spa consultant.
