OUR ESTHetician CURRICULUM
To train students for the constantly evolving field of esthetics, we ensure that theory and fundamentals are taught well so that future skincare professionals can build upon this foundation. Our popular Esthetician program’s emphasis on holistic and natural rejuvenation of the skin using 100% vegan Aveda products sets us apart from other, traditional esthetician schools.
We combine classroom theory with hands-on salon experience and clinical study. Training hours are split between several subjects, starting with physiology and anatomy, nutrition, and chemistry, then diving into techniques such as cleansing, facials, masks, massage, hair removal, aromatherapy, and makeup application.
We round things off with classes in business development, retail knowledge, and the art of gaining and retaining clients.
Students have plenty of opportunities to practice their esthetics skills in our onsite clinic, where they work with clients to build confidence and understand the business in a real-world spa environment. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to take part in exciting extracurricular events, including fashion shows, charity fundraisers, and more.
