Congratulations to Haley Guiberteau for being Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Lafayette’s August Student of the Month!

Haley Guiberteau is Aveda’s sweetheart! She is from New Iberia, Louisiana and graduated from Catholic High School in 2014. She went to the University of Louisiana for a year before coming to Aveda. She loves shopping, going to the beach, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her sister’s baby twins!

She is such a caring and thoughtful person and all her guests love her! She is always happy, friendly, and presents herself perfectly every day. A few words to describe Haley would be determined, passionate, positive, professional, and a team-player.
She has a wonderful attitude and is always a pleasure to be around!

Why Aveda?
“I knew Aveda would challenge me and give me the education I needed to have. The professionalism here is amazing and all of the educators are so understanding and helpful.”

Why Hair?
“Growing up in a salon with both my grandmother and mom being cosmetologists, it has always been a passion of mine. I love being able to help and make others feel good about themselves too. Being able to interact and meet new people every day is so rewarding at the end of the day! (I mean who doesn’t love a little pampering every now and then?)”

Favorite skill?
“I love to color and cut! Although you can get more creative with color!”

After Aveda?
“Praying to get a job at a Lafayette salon assisting and eventually have my own clientele to continue chasing my dreams.”

Advice for peers:
“Never give up and always have a positive attitude!”
