From Aveda Arts Cosmetology student to Northshore’s Best Colorist!
Our Cosmetology curriculum emphasizes hands-on training, ensuring our students are equipped with the skills and expertise needed to excel in the industry. We take pride in highlighting our artist’s achievements, and we’re thrilled to spotlight Aveda Arts alum, Gracyn Griffin.
Louisiana’s, “The Northshore’s Best” has been the most trusted resource to find outstanding businesses and service providers in St. Tammany Parish since 2006.
Her recent recognition as Northshore’s Best Colorist exemplifies the excellence fostered within our community, “Winning this award has been such an amazing achievement and an honor,” she shares. “While working on perfecting my craft, I was also forming lifelong, genuine relationships with my clients. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am.”
Gracyn’s journey began in 2017 when she enrolled in the cosmetology program at Aveda Arts Covington. “Cosmetology school was a dream for me,” she reflects. It was here at Aveda that Gracyn discovered not just the technical skills of her trade but also the profound importance of connection. “Aveda taught me so much about myself, how to connect with people, and how to thrive in the industry.”
She believes learning is a lifelong pursuit. “Learning is one of my biggest passions,” she emphasizes. “I hope to continue to inspire stylists and pursue a role in education one day, in hopes to continue to inspire other artists in our industry.”
