Esthiology

Our Esthiology program prepares you for a future as a skin care specialist. The training utilizes our trademark AVEDA pure flower and plant essences and wellness rituals. Every graduate will be trained in facials, waxing, makeup application, business development, wellness and retail knowledge.

Program Description

The Esthiology program includes theory, practice, and clinical study of skin care. Students will learn how to provide a complete "AVEDA Spa Experience" using AVEDA products in skin care, makeup, wax techniques, and other treatments. Students read assigned texts, take quizzes, mid-term and final exams, watch demonstrations, and practice skills in a lab and clinic setting.

Program Objectives

AVEDA skin care services and products require special training to use and sell them. Students learn how to use pure flower and plant essences in skin care treatments. Graduates who complete this program will be prepared to take the required state examinations to become licensed. Students seeking a license in other states will be advised about requirements in those states. Licensed graduates are eligible to work in salons and spas that offer full service skin care treatments, as well as exclusive AVEDA establishments.
