AVEDA INSTITUTE CATWALK FOR WATER SCHOLARSHIP
Each year during Earth Month, AI South awards scholarships to qualified applicants who wish to pursue training in cosmetology. Applicants submit a written or video essay describing their creative passion and reasons for wanting to attend beauty school; applicants also participate in hair/fashion benefit show to showcase their creativity, during which scholarship winners are announced. Deadline for submissions is March 17, 2018 (March 31, 2018 for Florida).
BEAUTY CHANGES LIVES SCHOLARSHIPS
Beauty Changes Lives is a charitable nonprofit foundation that elevates the beauty industry as a viable and rewarding career choice by awarding scholarships to the next generation of beauty and wellness professionals. ACE GRANT
American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS) partners with industry sponsors to offer scholarships and grants to deserving cosmetology students. The Access to Cosmetology Education (ACE) Scholarship Program is the first ever industry-wide effort to encourage highly motivated and qualified individuals to join the world of cosmetology. FLORIDA BRIGHT FUTURES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program has helped more than 725,000 Florida students attend a postsecondary institution. The program offers three types of scholarship awards – the Florida Academic Scholars award (FAS), the Florida Medallion Scholars award (FMS), and the Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars award (GSV). LOUISIANA TOPS (TAYLOR OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS)
TOPS (Taylor Opportunity Program for Students) is a program of state scholarships for Louisiana residents who attend either one of the Louisiana Public Colleges and Universities, schools that are a part of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, Louisiana approved Proprietary and Cosmetology Schools or institutions that are a part of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. 2018 MINERVA BEAUTY COSMETOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP
Minerva Beauty, a leading provider of salon equipment to the cosmetology industry, is proud to sponsor the Minerva Beauty Cosmetology Scholarship for the year 2017. A total of ten winning applicants will be chosen, each applicant receiving a scholarship of $1,000. 2018 PBA LIFETIME MEMBER SCHOLARSHIP
Another way PBA honors Lifetime Members is through educational scholarships. These scholarships celebrate the spirit of commitment to the association which has been demonstrated by the Lifetime Member through fostering the advancement and education of individual members. Scholarships will be awarded to current PBA individual and student members to use towards continuing education or cosmetology school. A total of five (5) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded in 2018. THE JOE FRANCIS HAIRCARE COSMETOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP
The Joe Francis Haircare Cosmetology Scholarship Foundation was established in 1994 to help deserving students receive financial assistance for the professional training necessary to build successful, long-term careers in the cosmetology industry. In honor of the life, work, and memory of Joseph Francis, 1933 – 1994, born into poverty, who achieved worldwide success through sacrifice, hard work, and determination. THE GREAT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Who says you can’t soar with shears? At Great Clips, we encourage you to show the world what you’re all about. To make it easier, Great Clips provides over $100,000 in scholarships and professional tools to cosmetology students each year! NCEA’S ESTHETICIAN SCHOLARSHIP
Eligible esthetician students can receive a $1,000 incentive scholarship while attending esthetic school. Applicants must be midway through an esthetician only training program, maintain at least 80% attendance, and 80% grade average. A selection committee comprised of NCEA members will review all applications that meet the requirements and are verified by the student’s school. Visit their website here.
