Here are just a few ways that our institutes give back:  

• Our Catwalk for Water fashion show is an event hosted by Aveda Arts & Sciences Institutes that highlights clean water awareness through beauty looks that combine style and sustainability. (Bonus: we also award scholarships to winners.) 

• Many of our campuses provide free beauty services for teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week, nurses during Nursing Week, and residents of nursing homes. 

• Earth Month is huge for us. Since 1999, we have spearheaded fundraising and clean water awareness through grassroots activities and events. We donate proceeds from our Light the Way Candle and Love Composition Oil to environmental causes. Our Earth Month initiatives have raised over $50 million for local and non-profit organizations dedicated to access to clean water. 

• We frequently hold community events like wellness expos, independent style week events, Pride events, and events at hospitals and schools where our students offer makeovers, hair styling, and face painting.
