The art of Cosmetology
New class every 10 weeks
Our cosmetology course combines theory with extensive hands on experience in a salon environment. The program includes hair cutting, color, texture services, nail care, makeup application, business development, retail knowledge and the concept of gaining and retaining clients.

New class every 3 months
Our Esthiology program prepares you for a future as a skin care specialist. The training utilizes our trademark AVEDA pure flower and plant essences and wellness rituals. Every graduate will be trained in facials, waxing, makeup application, business development, wellness and retail knowledge.

“Today is a day I will always remember. Nothing extraordinary happened. But today I officially became a student at the institute I have wanted to go to for a long time. To think that it all started with Teresa's novel! Hahaha really!! One day while watching Teresa with my mother, she said she loved how Angelique Boyer was made up in the novel, and I said “yes, right? father would learn to do that ”a few days later I grabbed my mom's makeup with her permission and put on “YouTube“ how to put on makeup Teresa ”haha of only 11 years I started trying to make a“ Smokey eye ”and MY GOD! It looked like they had hit me! Hahaha but for me I looked very cool. A few years pass and now I liked combing my hair and combing my friends (obviously also fany). Then I had to do a project in my high school class talking about the school I wanted to go to. Being completely honest I was never a lover of school, I was not designed for that kind of class. Total, I was very lost with what I wanted for my future. I started looking for schools and searched and searched, I swear that I read and read from different schools and somehow I came to AVEDA ARTS & SCIENCES INSTITUTES & I fell in love, I got excited and did my project. From there I started thinking about a career in cosmetology. More years pass and I decided to stay in Laredo and study business administration (although this is a career that if I like it and I find it super interesting it is not yet what my heart wanted) and today after almost 10 years that I put on makeup for the first time I made the decision to enroll in the school of my dreams. My heart is full of joy and I could not be more grateful to God and to all the people who really believe in me and support me in my decisions. Thank you very much for everything and well now if for the first time I can not wait for school to start!”
