Lissette was chosen for this accomplishment because she truly embodies what it means to be a team player. If you ask Lissette’s educators and classmates to tell you a little about her, the first thing they say is, “She is always willing to help everyone, anytime, no questions.” Lissette has maintained over 100% attendance throughout her time in school and has excelled in home care and service education. She is kind, dedicated, and passionate about the beauty industry.

When we asked Lissette why she chose Aveda, she said, “I chose Aveda for my education because of advice from a trusted salon owner who was a friend of mine. I also read all of the positive reviews I found online from students and customers.”

Lissette strives to offer the best customer service and experience for every guest she comes in contact with. She is truly dedicated to perfecting her skill and continuing to grow her knowledge of the industry.

Lissette was born in the Dominican Republic and when she was 13 Years old, she moved to Houston, TX. She is a proud graduate of George Bush High School, and was the first in her family to do so. Some of her other credentials include, Licensed Massage Therapist and Licensed Laser Hair Removal Technician.

Her favorite thing to do is spend time with Adrian, her 6-year-old son, the love of her life. Whether they are going to the movies, the zoo, or home watching television. Every moment she spends with him is one she will always cherish.

When we asked Lissette about her long term goals, she simply said,”My life’s goal is to gain the education and work experience in the world of beauty to someday open my own salon so I can make a better life for my son, and my time here at Aveda is an integral part of reaching that goal.”
