Congratulations to both Jessica Li Roqueta and Destiny Fomby for being Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Birmingham’s August Students of the Month!

Jessica Li Roqueta and Destiny Fomby were chosen because of their positive attitudes and professional behaviors. They both have exceeded their benchmark and attendance goals this month.

Jessica chose Aveda because she loves our mission and what Aveda stands for. Jessica moved to the U.S. from Havana Cuba in 2012 where she had started her education in cosmetology. She is very happy to be back in school doing what she loves. Salsa Dancing and cooking are her favorite hobbies.

Destiny chose Aveda because she loves Aveda products and had always heard great things about Aveda Birmingham. In her free time, Destiny loves live jazz music.
