Please join us in congratulating our August Student of the month, Jennifer Gustafson.
Jennifer comes from a registered nurse background and she has always been interested in Dermatology and Plastics. She has a great passion for helping others change their lives.
She was chosen by the team at Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Hammond due to her proactive attitude. She is very enthusiastic and a team player. She can also convince anyone to get anything waxed! This shows as one of her favorite things to do is waxing, especially shaping brows.She loves immediate gratification and seeing her guests happy.
Jennifer believes that the bedside manner she learned in nursing carries over to the esthetician world.
Her goal is achieving a great clientele and she knows she will attain this by helping her guests relax and enjoy their time at the spa. Jennifer’s caring for her guest and everyone around her really shows since she has been labeled by her classmates as the “Classroom Mom”.

Please join us in congratulating our September Student of the month, Erica Aranyosi.
Erica joined us from Albany High School. She worked the front desk at Bellagio Salon and Spa in Hammond and from there was inspired to follow her dream of being an esthetician. She always wanted to attend Aveda but was truly inspired when a former co-worker at Bellagio became an educator at our Institute.
Erica was chosen student of the month by our team at Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Hammond due to her determination and attention to detail. She is kind to everyone and personable with her guests. She always wants to be busy which explains why she is almost done with all her quotas. Erica has also been part of the 100% attendance club for 3 months in a row.
She loves doing all services offered at the Institute but if Erica had to pick one, she really enjoys waxing. She cherishes all the friendships she has made in school.
