Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Houston is proud to present our May student of the month, Elaina Espinosa. Elaina has been an absolute joy to have, she just moved into Masters A Side. Elaina was chosen because she is positive, does beautiful work and is always promoting herself, Aveda and Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Houston on her instagram @elainadoeshair
Elaina is from Willis, Texas and graduated from Willis High School. She was a self proclaimed band geek with a passion for make up. After high school Elaina pursued a major in psychology and although she misses it she knows Cosmetology is what she is meant to be doing. Her favorite thing about school is her guests reaction when they see their hair, how their face lights up with pure joy. Her advice for future students is to push through the rough times, it is all worth it when you are doing what you love. Her favorite Aveda product is the new Shampure Thermal Dry Conditioner.
After school Elaina plans to start out at a salon to get some experience under her belt. After that she hopes to be a traveling platform artist where she can share her passion for make up and hair.
