Meghan Youngblood is Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Lafayette’s student of the month for June!

She is a cosmetology student and is set to graduate September 2017. Meghan is the ideal student! She’s hungry for new information and guests. She is a sweet young lady and professional 24/7. She is always willing to help whenever asked.

Meghan makes the most out of every opportunity!  She is a positive person, always kind, and has a big smile on her face every day! Her guests LOVE her and she definately shows that she is part of the beauty industry. She is the kind of person that makes you feel loved when you are around her! She follows the rules and is a fabulous example to our students.

Q: Why Aveda?

A: “I chose Aveda because of its outstanding reputation and their willingness to help me succeed. From day one I have felt like family here at Aveda and I wouldn’t have it any other way!”

Q: Why Hair?

A: “I chose cosmetology because it’s a constant changing industry and full of continued education. I love change and having fun and in this industry it provides just that.”

Q: Favorite skill?

A: “My favorite area is color. I love formulating and learning new types of applications and styles.”

Q: After Aveda?

A: “I plan to find a salon that feels like home to me and allows me to express my style as well as my talents.”

Q: Advice for peers?

A: “Never give up, never settle, and do not let anything stop you from pursuing your dreams!”
