Congratulations to Reba Johnson for being Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Atlanta’s July Student of the Month!

Reba has quite the “come back” story. Starting the program, she faced some hardships in her personal life that could have derailed her from finishing the program, but she decided that nothing would get in the way of achieving her dream. She worked hard and is now one of our top-performing students! She is always happy and full of positive energy!

Reba chose Aveda because it is the best, the most natural, provides top of the line curriculum, and cultural diversity.

She attended Booker T Washington High School here in Atlanta.

Her favorite products are Pure Abundance Style Prep and Brilliant Universal Styling Cream.

Reba’s hobbies include bike riding and playing in the park with her daughter, Ari. She also owns an Eyelash Extension business that keeps her very busy.

After graduation Reba plans to go back to school to become a licensed esthetician, then open a spa that encompasses body sculpting, laser hair removal, hair and skin care. It will cater to bridal parties. Her motto is “luxury is comfort!”

Reba’s advice to incoming Aveda students is “It’s hard, but stick with it because it all pays off in the end!”
