Congratulations to Marion Grant for being selected as Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Lafayette’s July Student of the Month!

Marion Grant was chosen as our July Student of the Month for Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Lafayette! He is currently in Salon Concepts and will be graduating February 2017. He is from Rayne, LA and is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. He is very motivational to students and staff. His drive, talent, and passion make him an asset to the beauty industry. We love having him as part of our Aveda family!

Why Aveda? 

“Aveda offered a much better curriculum than any other Cosmetology school and Aveda has an all-natural product line.”

Why Hair?

“Hair has always been a passion of mine. Something as simple as a haircut or hairstyle can change a person day and I love being a part of that.”

Favorite skill?

“Hair cutting for men and women.”

After Aveda?

“I plan to work in a salon for about a year then eventually move on and open a salon of my own.”

Advice to peers?

“All of the educators have a very different background of teaching, so soak up as much knowledge from each one as much as possible!”
